Commercial Lines Producer We are looking to hire a driven, highly motivated individual who knows how to establish/build solid relationships and networks to succeed in this role. Specific responsibilities include: •Prospecting for new business usually $20,000 to $100,000 premium accounts •Act as resource to other CL producers and their support team in securing and servicing surety accounts for existing P & C clients •Preparing marketing submissions, proposals and summaries of insurance •Making new business & renewal sales presentations •Closing the deal- Up selling/ Cross selling •Effectively managing customer expectations •Checking policies, endorsements and other documents for accuracy •Accounts receivable collections and follow-up •Other miscellaneous duties as required QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: •Insurance sales experience required; P&C required; Construction surety experience desirable but nor required •Self-motivated, energetic, profit-motivated individual with a passion and drive to succeed •Strong communication skills. •Strong decision making skills and excellent judgment. •Must have a high energy-level •Previous experience and proven success in a sales role •Insurance Industry experience, with a knowledge of Insurance Brokerage practices and procedures an asset.
