| Controller Our client, a global leader in the production of quality metal parts, assemblies and modules, and of fluid management systems, This manufacturing company is a Tier 1 automotive supplier and supplier to other industrial sectors. They employ over 7000 people at 30 divisions in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Europe. Innovation Recognized for innovation in engineering solutions and thought-leadership in technologically-advanced product development and manufacturing, this organizations’ expertise includes fluid handling systems and a broad range of metal forming, including hydroforming, stampings, welded assemblies, class A and body and chassis systems. With an international customer base that includes automotive and industrial OEMs, they manufacture and deliver quality solutions worldwide. Due to growth there is a need for a Plant Controller at their Ridgetown Ontario location. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: o Work closely with the General Manager and to manage all financial aspects of the plant o Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to senior management for consolidation purposes o Develop, implement and maintain systems and procedures for accurate and timely reporting o Implement programs to control and/or reduce costs o Analyze and assess monthly divisional profit, loss and variance to budget with General Manager o Report financial results of division to the Corporate Controller and VP Finance o Preparation of divisional budgeting and forecasting o Cash flow reports o Develop Accounting staff through cross training objectives o Inventory control as well as direct and advise divisional accounting group Qualifications: Accounting designation preferred but not mandatory 4-5 years as a Controller at a multi-divisional manufacturing environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong supervisory/management experience is essential | |
